Analisa Penerapan Kaidah Penafsiran Al-Qur’an dengan Al-Qur’an dalam Tafsir Al-Azhar Karya Buya Hamka

Abstract

To interpret the Qur'an itself has rules, with the aim of avoiding deviations or errors in interpreting it, the author is interested in studying one of the methods of Indonesian Ulema in interpreting the Qur'an. That is, the interpretation of the Qur'an with the Qur'an, which is stated in Buya Hamka's tafsir al-Azhar in Surat Yasin. The type of research used was a library research with a character studies. The primary source of data in this study is the book Tafsir al-Azhar written by Buya Hamka. The application of the rules of Qur'anic interpretation to the Qur'an in Surat Yasin in the tafsir of al-Azhar there are ten points from nine different verses. Thus, it can be interpreted that Buya HAMKA also interpreted the Qur'an with the Qur'an or can be called tafsir bil-Ma'tsur. As well as the advantages in the tafsir of al-Azhar, he when including hadith in strengthening his tafsir always mentions the raawi hadith and the degree of the hadith. The drawback is that there is a history of isroiliyyat in his tafsir, but he was firm and critical in this matter and preferred to be content for what came from Allah and the Messenger of Allah, namely the Qur'an and the Sunnah. As well as the provisions between the things that must be considered in the interpretation of the Qur'an and the Qur'an in accordance with what is contained in the interpretation of Al-Azhar, so that it can be ascertained that there are no deviations in it.
