Membedah Sejarah “Kabupaten Srengat” pada Komunitas Forum Shilatul Afkar (FORSA)

Abstract

Srengat 1765 to 1830 was a regency under the Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat Solo which disappeared from history. This community service will dissect the history of "Srengat Regency" at the Shilatul Afkar Forum Community (FORSA) at the Kartini Library, Srengat District. There are two methods used in this service, namely the lecture method and the question-and-answer method. Community service in the form of presenting the history of "Srengat Regency" in the past went smoothly without any obstacles. The conclusion of this community service is an important event that occurred at the end of the Java War in the form of the Sepreh Agreement which took place on 3-4 1830 in Sepreh Village, Ngawi Regency, which had an impact on the elimination of "Srengat Regency" which previously played an important role in the history of East Java. In the 1700s to 1740s, there were important figures from the sons of Kiai Ageng Raden Donopuro Ponorogo who became religious affairs holders (penghulu), namely Syaikh Hasan Ghazali in Kalangbret Regency and Kiai Ageng Raden Muhammad Taklim in Srengat Regency.
