SOSIALISASI HISTORI PONDOK PESANTREN BREBESMILI PADA JAMAAH SEMA’AN AL-QURAN DESA PURWOKERTO BLITAR
Abstract
Pesantren is the first Islamic educational institution in the archipelago. In 1820 there was the Brebesmili Islamic Boarding School which was the largest Islamic boarding school in the Srengat Regency era, located on the banks of the Brantas River. Then in the era after the Java War ended on March 28, 1830, the Islamic boarding school was flooded with the migration of figures from Pangeran Diponegoro's army. This article examines community service in the form of socializing the history of the Brebesmili Islamic Boarding School at the Al-Quran Sema'an and Dzikrul Fatihin Congregation at the Tomb of Auliya Mbrebesmili Santren Purwokerto, Srengat, Blitar. There are two methods used in this service, namely the lecture method and the question-and-answer method. The service, in the form of socializing the history of the Brebesmili Bedali Islamic Boarding School, went smoothly and without any obstacles. After completing the service, there is hope from the Jama'ah Sema'an Al-Qur'an and Dzikrul Fatihin Makam Auliya Mbrebesmili Santren that in the future the Islamic boarding school that once experienced glory can rise again thanks to the socialization activities
