Abstract

Storytelling activities can be carried out by a teacher in early childhood education. This article examines community service in the form of storytelling training for early childhood, both in terms of technique and practice. There are three methods used in this service, namely the lecture method, the question and answer method, and the project learning method. This service resulted in the following conclusions. First, the service in the form of storytelling training for early childhood education ran smoothly without any significant obstacles. Second, the participants were enthusiastic in carrying out the training so that there was a significant understanding of the service activity in the form of storytelling training for early childhood education. Third, in practicing making fairy tale scripts, there seemed to be a special enthusiasm from the participants and several participants seemed to practice storytelling happily
