Workshop Pengolahan Sampah dengan Teknologi Biopori dan Ecobriks di Desa Rumpuk Kecamatan Mantup Kabupaten Lamongan

Abstract

One innovative method that has been proven effective in overcoming the waste problem is biopori. Biopori is an organic waste processing technique that utilizes small holes in the soil to increase water absorption and speed up the process of decomposing organic waste into compost. These biopore holes also help prevent waterlogging and flooding by facilitating the flow of water into the soil. The method used in this community service is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach. According to Machrus Ali, ABCD starts from the experience, abilities, knowledge and desires of community members, the strength of local associations, and positive support from institutions. The topic that has been determined is the importance of waste processing using the biopori method and Ecobriks. This program has been implemented in the Rumpuk Village community and can be said to be successful with evidence from the results during monitoring that the people there use biopori properly and increase their insight in managing waste
