Abstract

The Indonesian Hadrah Arts Association (ISHARI) is an autonomous body within the large Nahdlatul Ulama organization founded by KH. Abdurrahim. It specializes in the art of shalawatan (prayer) and the order of love for Allah and His Messenger. This article examines the community service program, which involved socializing the history of KH. Abdurrahim's da'wah (Islamic preaching), held at the residence of Mbah Kiai Muhammad Sholeh Sekardangan in Kanigoro, Blitar, East Java. Two methods were used in this community service program: a lecture and a question-and-answer session. The community service program, which involved socializing the history of KH. Abdurrahim's da'wah, proceeded smoothly without any obstacles. Following the completion of the service, the ISHARI congregation expressed their hope that they would also participate in training and socializing the history at the Graha Nahdlatul Ulama Jatinom Mosque every third Tuesday night.
