Al Iklil Journal: Journal of Qur'anic and Tafsir Studies is published by the Department of Qur'anic and Tafsir Studies, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) Blitar, East Java, Indonesia, in collaboration with the Research and Community Service Center (LP2M) of Nahdlatul Ulama University, Blitar, Indonesia.

The editorial board welcomes contributions in the form of articles, which will be published after undergoing a selection process, peer review, and editing. Submissions may include both library research and fieldwork studies. Al Iklil Journal: Journal of Qur'anic and Tafsir Studies is a peer-reviewed journal aimed at encouraging and promoting Qur'anic studies, designed to facilitate and bring the scholarly work of researchers, lecturers, students, practitioners, and others into academic dialogue. The scope of the journal covers Ulumul Qur'an, Qur'anic Exegesis, Interdisciplinary Tafsir, Living Qur'an studies, Qur'anic Linguistics, Nusantara Tafsir, and Qur'anic and Tafsir Manuscripts from the Archipelago.
