Kesetaraan Gender dari Lafadz Fitnah dalam Qs. Al- Furqan: 20 Perspektif Qiro’ah Mubadalah
Abstract
Departing from the words of the Prophet SAW. "I have not left behind a slander that is more dangerous for men than women" (H.R. Bukhari), that the most serious slander for men is women. Meanwhile, in QS.al-Furqan: 20 it is said that every person is a slander for other people, or some people are a slander for others. In this context, the expression of slander in the Qur'an seems to be more proportional than in the hadith text above. The presence of qiro'ah mubjadi promoted by Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir helped overcome the strict gender rules in Arabic, which made Islamic texts previously very masculine to be balanced. On the other hand, it can enable the birth of an Islamic narrative that places men and women as equal. Therefore, this research focuses on the relevance of the hadith regarding the slander of women to the QS. Al-Furqan: 20 viewed from the perspective of Qiro'ah Mubjadi? The method used is library research with a descriptive-analytical method, namely describing the meaning of slander against women in QS.al-Furqan: 20 qiro'ah mubjadi perspective. The results are none other than 1) The degrading perspective on women arises from the meaning of religious texts which are interpreted literally and separated from the basic principles of Islam, so that the meaning that emerges becomes reduced, lame, strange and contradictory. 2) Qs. al-Furqan: 20 is intended as a reciprocal relation verse from the hadith which means that each person can be a slanderer for another.
