Abstract

Discussing the interpretation of the Quran in its history will never end. It is always interesting to study. Every aspect of it has its own charm for the reviewers. So that millions or even billions of works about it have sprung up. Moreover, the interpretation of the Quran is full of ideological nuances because it is influenced by the scientific background, ideology, and political affiliation of the author. So from there, tasfir-tafsir that contains ad-dhakilah - something that is different, more so in tafsir bil ra'yi. From this point on, the legality of bil-rayi interpretation is debated, and what kind of ad-dakhilah can be legalized in bil-ra'yi interpretation. The purpose of this paper is to uncover the veil of idology and the historical altar of ad-dakhilah in tafsir bil-ra'yi: Is there indeed a scientific authorization that makes it legal to be preserved in the tradition of interpretation; or are there epistemological anomalies or other factors. To dissect the discourse, the author uses a literature approach that serves to explore the contents and thoughts of the classical tafsir treasures. In addition, a discourse analysis approach is also used as a framework for analyzing textual sounds that are conveyed hiddenly behind the narratives of their interpretation of the Qur'an. The results found that the determination of ad-dhakilah authorization in tafsir bil-ra'yi involves not only ideological elements, but also scientific authority. And, from all that, it can be said that not all ad-dakhilah are bad; there are ad-dakhilah that are good and even beneficial for the discourse of tafsir bil ra'yi.
