Pengembangan media belanja kata dan gambar untuk menulis teks deskripsi dengan pendekatan kontekstual siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs.
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil observasi melalui
wawancara dengan guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas VII di
MTs. Sunan Ampel Ringinrejo. Pada saat observasi penelitian ditemukan
beberapa masalah dalam proses pembelajaran, salah satunya siswa
kurangnya kreatifitas siswa dalam ketrampilan menulis teks deskripsi.
Tujuan dari penelitian pengembangan yaitu menghasilkan produk berupa
media belanja kata dan gambar serta mengetahui kelayakan produk yang
meliputi: (validasi, keparaktisan, dan kemenarikan produk) media belanja
kata dan gambar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
metode R&D dengan model pengembangan 4-D. Produk yang
dikembangkan kemudian diuji cobakan guna untuk mngetahui kelayakan
produk yang meliputi: validasi (ahli media dan ahli materi), kepraktisan
(guru), dan kemenarikan (siswa). Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik
analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Perolehan data kualitatif meliputi:
wawancara, observasi, serta kritik dan saran yang diberikan responden.
Sedangkan, pengumpulan data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil angket
responden yang dihitung menggunakan kriteria kelayakan produk.
Berikut hasil pengumpulan data kuantitatif untuk kelayakan produk: ahli
media dengan total skor 77%, ahli materi dengan total skor 89%, guru
dengan total skor 100%, dan siswa dengan total skor 95%. Dengan ini,
produk media “belanja kata dan gambar” dapat dikualifikasi sagat layak
diimplementasikan di MTs. Sunan Ampel Ringinrejo.
Abstract: This research wes motivated by the results of observations
through interviews with teachers of Indonesia language class VII in MTs.
Sunan Ampel Ringinrejo. At the time of research observation, several
problems were found in the learning process, one of which was the lack of
student creativity in writing descriptive text skills. The purpose of
development research is to produce products in the from of word and image
shopping media and to determinate the feaasibility of the product which
includes: (validation, practicality, and produk attractiveness) word and
image shopping media. The method used in this research is the R&D method
with a 4-D development model. The developed product is then tested in
order to determine the feasibility of the product which includes: validation
(media experts an material experts), practility (teachers), and attactiveness
(students). Date were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data
analysis techniquess. The acquisition of qualitative data includes:
interviews, observations, as well as criticism and suggestions given by
respondents. Meanwhile, quantitative data collection from the results of the
respondent’s questionnaire which was calculated using the product
eligibiliy criteria. The following are the results of collecting quantitative
data for product feasibility: media experts with a total score of 77%,
material expert with a total ssore of 89%, teachers with a total score of
100%, and students with total score of 95%. With this, the media product
“shopping word and pictures” can be qualified as very feasible to be
implemented in MTs. Sunan Ampel Ringinrejo.
