General Author Guidelines

Authors are required to submit their manuscripts via our website: ESPAS Journal Submission. Manuscripts must be written in either Indonesian or English, and they should be original works that have not been published or are not under review in any other journals.

Each manuscript should include the following details: title, full name(s) of the author(s), affiliation, email address, abstract, and keywords.

For empirical research papers, the manuscript should be organized into the following sections: Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

  • Introduction: This section should include the background of the study, research problems, a summary of previous relevant studies, the identified knowledge gap, and the research objectives. It should be written as a single chapter without any subtitles.

  • Method: The method section should cover the research design, data collection, population and sample, data sources, data collection techniques, and data analysis. This should be presented in paragraph form.

  • Results and Discussion: This section should present key findings based on original data obtained through interviews, observations, questionnaires, surveys, documents, and other data collection techniques. The findings should be detailed and connected to the research scope, supplemented by tables, graphs, and/or diagrams as needed. The data analysis results should be clearly explained, and the discussion should logically interpret the findings in relation to relevant sources.

  • Conclusion: The conclusion should offer a brief summary of the findings and discussion, presented in a concise, narrative, and conceptual manner. Avoid using bullet points or numbering.

  • References: Citations and references should adhere to the American Psychological Association (APA) style, 6th edition. Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools like Mendeley or Zotero.

Manuscripts should be prepared according to the specific author guidelines and template provided. The writing template can be downloaded Journal Template here.
