Peer Review Process
Review Policy
The publication of articles in *Jurnal Terapan Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah* (JTPDM) relies entirely on scientific validity and coherence as assessed by editors and/or reviewers. Evaluations focus on whether the writing is clear and understandable and whether the work makes a valuable contribution to the field. The management of JTPDM acknowledges the comments and suggestions provided by reviewers.
Initial Article Review
Editors first evaluate all submitted articles. Articles rejected at this stage are deemed to lack originality, contain serious scientific flaws, or fall outside the aims and scope of JTPDM. Articles meeting the minimum criteria are forwarded to reviewers for assessment.
Review Type
Submitted articles are generally reviewed by a single reviewer asked to evaluate the manuscript's scientific validity and suitability, its relationship to previously published work, and the clarity of the article for publication. The process employs a double-blind (or double-anonymous) peer review method.
Review Outcomes
Reviewers are asked to evaluate whether the manuscript:
- Is original, with clearly stated objectives and research gaps.
- Employs a valid research methodology.
- Adheres to appropriate article writing guidelines.
- Presents results or findings clearly that support the conclusions.
- Correctly references previous research.
