Refleksi diri dan aktualisasi: Analisis semiotika lirik “di akhir perang” karya Nadin Amizah (pendekatan psikologi humanistik Carl Rogers)

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi representasi refleksi diri dan proses aktualisasi diri dalam lirik lagu "Di Akhir Perang" karya Nadin Amizah melalui lensa semiotika dan psikologi humanistik Carl Rogers. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes (denotasi, konotasi, mitos), studi ini membedah bagaimana simbolisme "perang" merepresentasikan inkongruensi internal individu. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa lirik tersebut merupakan manifestasi perjalanan dari organismic valuing process menuju fully functioning person. Novelty penelitian ini terletak pada sintesis antara struktur tanda linguistik dengan dinamika kepribadian humanistik dalam karya musik kontemporer Indonesia. Abstract: This study aims to explore the representation of self-reflection and the process of self-actualization in the song lyrics “Di Akhir Perang” by Nadin Amizah through the lenses of semiotics and Carl Rogers’ humanistic psychology. Employing a descriptive qualitative method and Roland Barthes’ semiotic analysis (denotation, connotation, and myth), this research examines how the symbolism of “war” represents an individual’s internal incongruence. The findings indicate that the lyrics embody a journey from the organismic valuing process toward becoming a fully functioning person. The novelty of this study lies in its synthesis of linguistic sign structures with the dynamics of humanistic personality within contemporary Indonesian music.
